Blood is collected and placed in a centrifuge to get concentrated platelets - Platelet Rich Plasma. PRFM is created through a controlled process, creating a scaffold that serves to protect and preserve platelets. This scaffold recruits growth factors for 7 days, as opposed to Platelet Rich Plasma which only lasts for 1 day. This treatment is best achieved with injection below the dermis by use of cannula. It is a great treatment for under eye hollowing or dark circles, skin rejuvenation, and mild volume correction.
